How do I check if my phone supports eSIM?

Method 1: Dial *#06#

Open your device's Phone / Dialer app and dial *#06#. You do not need to press the call button:

Dialer Code

*#06#

If you see an EID number (32 digits): Your hardware has an embedded eSIM chip and supports eSIM.

Method 2: Check in phone settings

Apple iPhone & iPad

iOS
1

Check for eSIM option

Go to Settings → Mobile Service. If you see “Add eSIM” (or Add Mobile Plan on older iOS versions), your device supports eSIM.
2

Check carrier lock (crucial!)

Go to Settings → General → About. Scroll down to Carrier Lock (or Network Provider Lock):
Must show: “No SIM restrictions”. If it shows “SIM locked”, contact your carrier to unlock your device before traveling.
Important regional model exceptions

This guide and our compatible devices list cover international / global variants. Devices sold in certain regions (e.g. mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao) or carrier-locked versions may share the same model name but not support eSIM — dial *#06# and look for a 32-digit EID to confirm.
